The resolution of the termination of ISCGM and the transfer of Global Map data to the Geospatial Information Section in the UN was adopted at the 23rd ISCGM meeting on August 2, 2016. In this context, ISCGM terminated its website service on December 19, 2016. The following website is for the archive of Global Map data as of December 19, 2016.
The domain name "iscgm.org" will be managed for a while by Geospatial Information Authority of Japan which was in charge of the secretariat of ISCGM, based on the policy of the government of Japan, " Basic Policy Concerning Provision and Utilization Promotion of Administrative Information through Website and so on" (PDF 381KB, in Japanese) and " Domain Management Guide (Ver.2) (PDF 570KB, in Japanese)" . No information will be provided from "iscgm.org" after the operation stops. The domain name " iscgm.org" will be continuously owned by Geospatial Information Authority of Japan for a certain period of time after the operation stops not to make users to be induced to spoofed or malicious websites through search engines and so on.
