Release of Global Map Africa taking the occasion of the 4th Tokyo International Conference on African Development
The Fourth Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD) will be held from 28-30 May 2008 in Yokohama, Japan. Heads of many African countries will participate in the conference.
Taking the occasion of this conference, ISCGM has compiled Global Map Africa. These maps will also be used during the conference.
Land cover and vegetation layers, which are included in the maps we introduce at the conference, have been given a final check and will be made available to the public early June.
